The brief
A 190 m² three-bedroom apartment at Asayel, Madinat Jumeirah Living: design and full fit-out, with marble bathrooms, joinery and lighting carried consistently through the flat.
The constraint
Large-format stone in a bathroom is decided under the surface — waterproofing turned up correctly at every penetration, falls that run to the drain, a substrate that carries the slab weight. The visible seam is the last decision, not the first.
Sixteen weeks in an occupied building, with the association's hours and a shared service lift setting the daily rhythm.
What was delivered
Marble bathrooms with full wet-area build-up, bespoke joinery through the living spaces, lighting and finishes throughout.

What the work included
An apartment fit-out is a neighbours problem before it is a construction problem. Waste leaves through a booked route, noisy trades live inside the hours the association allows, and the programme is written around both.
